Saint Rose Staff

Principal
Mrs. Bafus is the Administrator of our wonderful school. She holds multiple degrees and certifications including a Bachelors from Western Oregon State College, a Masters in Theology from Mount Angel Seminary, her Teaching Certificate from WGU and her Administrator credentials from Gonzaga. She has worked in education for over 15 years and has been a part of Saint Rose for 12 years. Her hobbies include jewelry making, gardening, house projects and listening to live music. The incredible staff and students at our school are the best part of her job.

Preschool & Intervention
Mrs. Beaulieu holds an AA Degree in Early Childhood Education. She has eight years of experience in education and has been a part of our Saint Rose family for five years. Her favorite part of working at our school is that it is family and faith oriented. Outside of school, she enjoys spending time with her husband and six children. She also enjoys horseback riding and reading.

Preschool & Art
Mrs. Ahmann is our wonderful Pre K and K-6 Art Teacher! She has an AA from Big Bend Community College and a BA in Communications and Graphic Design with a Minor in Art. She has been a part of our team for five years here at Saint Rose. She loves everything about Saint Rose, but especially the family atmosphere, teaching children about God, and her staff family! Her role is unique in that she get's to teach ALL students in our school. She is a former professional dancer and prior to working at Saint Rose owned two dance studios. She is a self-proclaimed dairy cow lover and she and her children have shown dairy heifers at the fair for over 46 years.

Kindergarten
Mrs. McDonnell is our Kindergarten teacher here at Saint Rose. She received her teaching degree from Washington State University and has been working in education for 27 years. She has worked at Saint Rose for 20 years, and her favorite part of working at our school is that it is that they are truly a family.

First Grade
Mrs. Eisen is the first grade teacher here at Saint Rose. She holds a Masters degree in Curriculum and Assessments, is endorsed in ELL and is a certified Read Well trainer. She has been an educator for 15 years and has been witnessing faith grow in both students and staff for 13 years at Saint Rose. She and her husband enjoy spending time with their adult children and grandchildren.

Second Grade
Mrs. Moore is our Second Grade teacher at Saint Rose. She has a Bachelors of Arts from Washington State University and has worked in our school for eight years. She loves that Saint Rose school feels like a family. She is currently pursuing her Master's in Teaching and has acted and sang in several local theater productions in Quincy, Moses Lake and Soap Lake.

Third Grade
Mrs. Sackmann is our third grade teacher here at Saint Rose. She holds a Masters degree from Walden University and has over 15 years teaching experience--ten of those at our school. She loves that Saint Rose is a close knit family, where staff and students support each other and share their love for Jesus every day. She currently has two children who attend our school, and when she's not working, she enjoys camping and spending time outdoors with her husband, children, family and friends.

Fourth & Fifth Grade
Mrs. Lundgren teaches our 4th / 5th grade class at Saint Rose. She has a Bachelors degree in Education from Heritage University and has worked in education for 15 years--13 of those at our school. Mrs. Lundgren enjoys getting to know our Saint Rose students and families, as well as spending time with her own family. Outside of school she can be found on the baskeball court or beach, coffee in hand.

Sixth Grade
Mrs. Navarro is our sixth grade teacher at Saint Rose. She holds a Master's degree from WGU and has worked with us since 2020. Mrs. Navarro's favorite part about Saint Rose is that she gets to talk about Jesus all day long! In her free time she enjoys reading, tennis, horseback riding and camping with her family.

PE & Nutrition Program Director
Mrs. Devine received her degree from Washington State University (Go Cougs!) and has worked at our school for 12 years. Her favorite part about Saint Rose is helping students build confidence in themselves! When she's not teaching, she enjoys traveling and following all kinds of sports with her family.

Music Director
Mrs. Couture is our Music Director at Saint Rose. She has worked in music education for 30 years. Her dedication to the growth of our students through music has been a blessing to Saint Rose for over 23 years. Her favorite aspect of our school is the Christ-Centered teaching, and she enjoys spenidng time with her grandkids, as well as arts and crafts.

Administrative Assistant
Mrs. Martinez is our Administrative Assistant here at Saint Rose, and the smiling face you see upon entry to our school. She has been a true asset to St. Rose for over five years. She enjoys being a part of those special moments where God's hand is revealed in the lives of our students. She is an avid Seattle Seahawks and Portland Trailblazers fan, and enjoys drawing in her free time.

Librarian
Ms. Swenson is our Librarian here at Saint Rose. She has a Masters degree in Education from Lesley University and has worked in education for over 26 years. In her time at Saint Rose, she has grown to love the supportive community of our beautiful school. Outside of work, Ms. Swenson enjoys gardening, reading, and helping others.

Custodian & Cook
Mrs. Navarro serves our school as both custodian and cook. She has been a part of our Saint Rose family for seven years and her favorite part about working in our school is watching the students learn to love God!

Bookkeeper
Mrs. Dilling is our Bookkeeper at Saint Rose. She also serves in various support positions as well as 4th grade math insruction. She attended Washington State University, Seattle Central College and Central Oregon College. She has worked in our school for nine years and her favorite part of Saint Rose is her fantastic co-workers and of course the students. She enjoys spending time with her family, baking, hosting garden parties and DIY home renovations.

Teachers Aide / Student Teacher
Mrs. Fitz is a Teachers Aide and Student Teacher here at Saint Rose. She has been a part of our family here for three years and is currently working towards her Bachelors in Elementary Education from WGU. Mrs. Fitz loves the strong relationships that are buildt between staff and students at our school, and considers them family. She loves to crochet, camp, hike and read in her spare time.

Preschool Aide & After School Program Lead
Mrs. Navarro is a Teachers Aide in our preschool class as well as our After School Program Lead. She has been a part of our school since 2020, and her favorite part about working at Saint Rose is getting to know all the students and cherishing their unique personalities.

Cook
Mrs. Paz is our excellent cook here at Saint Rose! She is responsible for creating healthy and delicious meals on site for our students.

Maintenance
Mr. Garcia is our Maintenance Professional at Saint Rose. He holds a BA in Community studies from University of CA at Santa Cruz and has over 13 years experience working in higher educational instututions. He has been a part of our Saint Rose Team since 2020 and enjoys his great coworkers and interacting with our students. When he's not working, he enjoys gardening and watching movies.

Teachers Aide
Mrs. Claussen is a Teacher's Aide at Saint Rose and has worked with us since 2016. She, her mother and both her children all attended our beautiful school. Mrs. Claussen has a BA from Gonzaga University and she feels Saint Rose is like a family to her. She enjoys seeing students progress and having the opportuntiy to bond and laugh with them! Her hobbies include spending time with her family, crafting, relaxing on the patio and going to the ocean.

Teacher's Aide
Mrs. Vela is a Kindergarten Aide and 1st Grade Student Teacher at Saint Rose. She holds an AA from Big Bend and will granduate with her Bachelor's Degree from Central WA University in June of 2023. She has four years experience working in education and has been a part of Saint Rose for one year. Her favorite things about our school are the supportive and kind staff and helping students grow. Mrs. Vela is part of the Spanish mass choir and loves to sing, listen to music, take hikes and spend time with friends and family.
