Equity Policy: Made in God’s Likeness & Image

In order to treat students at St. Rose School equitably regardless of faith background, ethnicity, income level, or home language, we will:

  1. Provide additional support and intervention to any student in need.

  2. Never turn away a student due to inability to pay tuition.

  3. Revise and edit homework according to family need and provide at school tutoring.

  4. Not tolerate derogatory statements or humor targeting race, gender, culture, or income level.

  5. Address all achievement gaps in student learning (dis-aggregating for language, income, culture, or race) Interventions will address these needs and we will be the exception to the norm.

  6. Check all student discipline for equity. St. Rose of Lima School students are made in the image and likeness of God and will be treated appropriately.
